Sick people arrive at the emergency room.

Tap one, then tap a bed. Tap them again when they are better to send them home. Triangles are the sickest, and everybody gets worse while they wait.

  • A level takes about a minute.
  • Your first day runs under training rules, so nobody can die.
  • Beds treat people; chairs only buy time.

Eight hand-built levels, an endless surge, and a Chill Shift where nobody can die at all. The worst diagnosis in the building is a stubbed toe. Free, in the browser. Built with AI assistance; the design calls are mine. The devlog has the rest.

More about the game

Campaign levels run about a minute each, and an Endless Surge run is two to five. Your first day plays under training rules, so nobody flatlines while you learn. Tap or click only, one hand, no keyboard.

ER Rush is a triage game. Patients walk in at three severities, and every one is readable three ways: shape, color, and the word itself. A MINOR dot waits half a minute at the door; a CRITICAL triangle gives you fourteen seconds. Beds treat, chairs buy time, and anyone you ignore slides down the chain from sniffles to racing heart to a very calm flatline icon. It is a kid-safe ER: the worst diagnosis in the building is a Stubbed Toe, and nothing bleeds.

Three ways to play. The campaign is eight hand-tuned puzzles, First Day through Rush Hour, with three-star scoring. Endless Surge accelerates for the first few minutes, then holds the pace until three flatlines end the run. Chill Shift is the one where nobody can die and the combo never resets, for people who want a hospital that just hums.

In the endless modes a supply cart pauses the shift and sells upgrades for score, which is the whole tension: more chairs, faster nurses, a quicker Stabilize, a fifth bed, all paid for out of your leaderboard total.

Small timing rules carry the depth: discharge chains build to a x5 combo, bedding a critical within three seconds pays a fast-bed bonus, and seated minors lose patience and walk out at minus 150.

There is sound now, a few soft synthesized cues, kid-safe, with an on/off pill on the menu. One Stabilize per campaign level (a 45-second recharge in the endless modes) refills the sickest patient's timer when you are cornered. Stars and best scores save in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Free, plays in the browser, portrait friendly. Built with AI assistance; the design calls are mine. The devlog has the war stories.
