Play free in your browser. No account, no install, no ads, nothing to buy.

Novafall is an idle space empire. You start with a command station and a single probe drone, and end up running a galaxy that keeps producing while the tab is closed.

- 30 ship classes across six tiers, each upgradeable five times.

- 64 worlds across 16 sectors to colonize and develop — mining worlds, gas giants, relic worlds — with garrison requirements, trade lanes and blockades.

- Ascension. Prestige into Dark Matter and spend it on 24 permanent upgrades — ten of them ministers who take over running the game one system at a time: shipyards, labs, colonization, war, trade, treasury, the spy network.

- Three doctrines chosen at ascension that change the math rather than the skin. The Federation trades fleet power for diplomacy; the Empire inverts it.

- Three rival empires — the Vex Hegemony, the Krillix Swarm and the Hollow Court — who blockade your lanes and besiege colonies once you are worth the trouble. Five alien species to court instead of fight.

- A shadow war. Spy rings, counter-intelligence, and operations gated behind the government you chose.

- Six wonders, senate edicts, 8 challenge ascensions, 26 achievements, and offline progress that is meant to be the point rather than an apology.

Your save lives in this browser. Settings → Save Data → Transfer Code turns your whole empire into a block of text you can keep somewhere safe, or paste into Novafall on another device.

There is also an iOS version with optional rewarded ads and in-app purchases. This browser version has neither. Dark Matter and warp hours are earned by playing anyway — ascend for ◈, and the daily supply drop pays warp time — so those packs only skip the wait. The six Precursor Relics are the honest exception: they are permanent boosts sold only in the iOS shop, with no way to earn them in game, so the browser edition cannot get those. Everything else — all 64 worlds, every wonder, the whole prestige tree — is fully open here.
